Assessed against AO1, AO2, AO3 using Revision Robin's own level descriptors below. These are not the exam board's mark scheme. Every quotation in the feedback is checked against your answer before you see it, and a teacher's mark overrides ours.

Level 3 · 5 to 6Detailed and accurate explanation of opportunities and challenges. Demonstrates thorough geographical understanding of the role of TNCs. Uses specific and well-developed points supported by detailed place-specific information and/or relevant statistics to provide a clear and coherent argument. AO1, AO2 and AO3 are all well addressed.
Level 2 · 3 to 4Clear explanation of some opportunities and/or challenges. Demonstrates some geographical understanding. Uses some specific points, supported by some place-specific information and/or relevant statistics, but may lack detail or development. A coherent argument may be present but less well developed. AO1, AO2 and AO3 are addressed, but with less balance or depth.
Level 1 · 1 to 2Basic explanation or description of limited opportunities or challenges. Demonstrates limited geographical understanding. Uses simple points, with little or no supporting place-specific information or statistics. Lacks a clear argument. AO1, AO2 or AO3 are superficially addressed or imbalanced.
