| Level 3 · 5 to 6 | Detailed and accurate knowledge and understanding of different mitigation and/or adaptation strategies. Well-developed and logical discussion of their effectiveness, using specific evidence and real-world examples. Clearly links strategies to managing causes or effects of climate change. Geographical terminology is used with precision and accuracy. |
| Level 2 · 3 to 4 | Clear knowledge and understanding of some mitigation and/or adaptation strategies. Clear discussion of their effectiveness, with some use of examples, but may lack depth or balance. Generally links strategies to managing causes or effects.
